Baby's energy is surging, thanks to white fat depositing beneath his skin. And since he's growing so fast (weight will triple by birth), things are getting kind of cramped in the womb. What all this means for you: Get ready for some more kicks and jabs to the ribs.

Insight to what Caden will look like? :/
Caden's room is coming along. Not done, but coming along. We still need to paint the accent wall and I am waiting for the sticker to come in the mail. Tomorrow, I am planning on washing her clothes and starting to put them away. Can't wait! I have gotten so many "hand me downs" and haven't looked through them in a while, so tomorrow should be fun.
Did the "What will my baby look like" test online (uses a picture of me and a picture of DJ) and this is what it came up with...

Stuffed Peppers:
4- 4 block meals
Ingredients:
4 bell peppers
2 cups chopped tomato
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup black beans
2 tbs (dry) barley
1 cup corn
1.5 lb lean ground beef (<10%)
cayenne pepper and curry powder (or other spices, to preference)
1 tbs olive oil
1 tbs sour cream
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 450º F. Slice the top off each pepper and remove seeds and membranes. Place cut-side down in a microwave-safe dish. Microwave on high 2–3 minutes, or until crisp-tender. Allow to cool. Place 1/4 cup water in a small sauce pan. Bring to boil and add barley. Cover and simmer till liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat. In a large skillet, saute chopped onions in olive oil until translucent. Add ground beef and brown. Add tomato, beans, corn and barley to beef and onions. Heat through. Add spices to your taste. Divide beef mixture evenly among four pepper bowls. Bake 15-20 minutes at 450. Serve with sour cream.
Notes:
Each pepper is a 4 block meal.

Cindy Yesterday, Today REST
Today, thankfully is a rest day! No working out for me, though I am off to teach a PT class at Travis Air Force Base and then regular evening classes at CFS- not much of a "rest" but I don't plan on working out.
I have posted a few recipes and have had some positive feed back from them so I thought I would post another. It's a quick breakfast when you are looking for something sweet, delicious and fulfills both your Carb and Protein needs.
"Cheese Pancakes"
1c cottage cheese
3 eggs
1/4c flour
1 tablespoon canola oil
I personally add a little cinnamon and vanilla for flavor, but that's up to you.
Serve with 2 cups of strawberries on top. In ZONE words, it comes to 2-4 block meals. This recipe can be double with no consistency changes to the mixture. I recommend mixing the ingredients in a blender so it is smooth. Makes 8 pancakes (I use 1/3 cup measuring unit to make them all the same size).
